Prophets and Pastors Building Churches
Ezra 5:1-2 Now Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the prophet, a descendant of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, who was over them. 2 Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jozadak set to work to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them, helping them.
Clearly there is a continuing need for quality prophets to become functional within the church in the 21st century, particularly prophets able to function within a strong building dimension in partnership with church leaders. One of the most profound and dynamic building relationship in the bible is the partnership between the prophetic dimension and leadership.
Being a prophetic builder is a much different operation than simply itinerating and speaking prophecies over individuals. The prophetic builder must be a craftsman, a skilled architect capable of coming along-side pastoral leaders to assist in the constructing of individual lives and communities.
The prophetic dimension is needed in full operation within churches of the 21st century. To think we can successfully develop Kingdom culture and Kingdom advance inside churches without the vital role of prophetic partnership is to ignore clear biblical standards for strategic building.
The prophetic operations of Haggai and Zechariah provide a clear example of how effective prophetic input can cause elevation and advance when leadership and trusted prophets choose to work together inside the building dimension.
This seminar is unique in that credible prophets with global ministries have the clear sense that God is sending them to the greater Phoenix area to assist pastoral leaders, who have themselves been mandated by God to build a specific Kingdom community.
